Lab Tech I at Global Standards Inc – STEVENSVILLE, Michigan

This person produces and bottles reagents and reference materials. This position reports to the Laboratory Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Follows work instructions to produce laboratory reagents
• Bottles laboratory reagents and reference materials as directed
• Maintains a clean and organized laboratory and work area
• Performs checks on calibrated equipment as requested
• Cleans and maintains laboratory equipment and supplies, such as beakers, pans, ovens, etc.
• Performs other tasks as requested by immediate supervisor

Requirements

• Requires high school diploma and preferred one year of high school chemistry
• Physically capable of stooping, bending, standing, lifting from 30-50lbs regularly or sitting for long periods of time
• Experience with ISO standards
• Good oral and written communication skills
