Role Overview
VersAbility Resources is seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Supervisor to lead operations within our Community Living program.
This leadership role is responsible for overseeing residential services, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting individuals with disabilities in achieving independence and quality of life. The Residential Supervisor serves as a key point of contact for individuals, families, and community partners while driving effective operations and team performance.

What You’ll Do
• Provide leadership and supervision for residential staff and daily operations
• Develop staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and support for individuals
• Train and ensure staff maintain required certifications (CPR, First Aid, CPI, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations (Medicaid Waiver, DSS, DOH, HUD, etc.)
• Oversee Individual Support Plans (ISP), person-centered planning, and service delivery
• Monitor and support individuals’ personal needs, independence, and community integration
• Manage residence operations within budget and oversee financial responsibilities for individuals
• Serve as a primary point of contact for families, support coordinators, and external partners
• Maintain 24/7 on-call availability for emergencies and critical needs
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Support documentation, compliance tracking, and reporting requirements
• Promote a safe, respectful, and person-centered environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field (preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities
• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of regulatory and licensing requirements
• Experience with Individual Support Plans (ISP) and Medicaid Waiver services (preferred)
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions
• Valid driver’s license required

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This role operates in residential group home settings with occasional visits to day programs and community locations. Work may involve a combination of administrative duties and hands-on support.
The position may require standing, walking, lifting, and responding to emergency situations. Some exposure to various environments, including residential and industrial settings, may occur.
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Schedule
This is a full-time position. The Residential Supervisor is expected to maintain flexibility in scheduling and must be available on-call 24/7 to support emergency and operational needs.
