GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Shipping & Receiving Support 2 will support critical warehouse operations, including material handling, inventory movement, inbound and outbound logistics, and returns processing. This role requires proficiency with PIT (Power Industrial Truck) equipment and the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • PIT Pro in Motion: Hop on power industrial truck equipment to down-stack pallets and keep product flowing into bins and shelving.
  • Warehouse Road Warrior: Move inventory around the building; from storage to the line like you own the place (because you kinda do).
  • Tech-Friendly Mover: Use scanners and computers to track product while keeping things accurate and efficient.
  • Dockside Hero: Load freight onto outbound docks and make sure it’s set for smooth sailing.
  • Unload Like a Boss: Use PIT equipment to bring in new product, unloading trucks and getting inventory staged with confidence.
  • Staging Superstar: Shift pallets from the dock to staging areas and prep shipments like a seasoned pro.
  • Load & Go: Load trucks with outbound pallets and inventory, making sure everything is secure and ready for its next adventure.
  • Inventory Navigator: Move incoming product from staging into warehouse locations to keep everything organized and flowing.
  • Unload with Skill: Use pallet jacks to get incoming shipments off the truck and into the building.
  • Paperwork Pro: Read Bills of Lading and match them with purchase orders like a detective.
  • System Savvy: Verify product in the WMS, receive it into inventory, and close out POs.
  • Unbox & Discover: Open returned shipments and see what treasures (or mysteries) are coming back.
  • Scan & Sort: Identify each item, scan it into the system, and decide whether it goes back to stock or gets marked as damaged.
  • Full-Shift Flow: Keep the returns train running smoothly—volume sets the pace, and you keep it moving.
  • Start the Journey: Make sure everything enters the warehouse clean, correct, and ready for action.
  • Quality Crusader (VAS/Value Added Service): Jump into improvement projects and help us level up how we do things. This includes performing customer-specific services at special handling stations. Tasks vary by client (e.g., hand-rolling bottles in tissue, custom box builds, wax dipping).
  • Clean Space, Clear Mind: Keep your workspace safe and sparkling. A tidy zone is a productive zone!
  • Team Player Extraordinaire: Pitch in wherever needed because teamwork makes the dream work.
  • On Time, Every Time: Show up ready to roll, because reliability is your superpower.
