Role Summary:

A delivery driver is responsible for safely operating a company vehicle to transport goods from the warehouse to customer locations, ensuring timely deliveries by loading, unloading, and verifying items while adhering to traffic laws and company policies; often requiring excellent navigation skills and customer service interactions to complete deliveries efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load orders for each day’s delivery schedule and ensure that orders are delivered to the correct location and customer. May include delivery of sales related items, orders, flyers, etc.
• Enhance relationships with current customers by providing prompt, professional, and courteous service while making our customers aware of what we provide.
• Maintain a working knowledge of company products, services, and procedures.
• Drive light vehicles to deliver parts and pick up supplies. This will include the general upkeep of cleanliness and fuel levels of company vehicles.
• Suggest improved methods and practices for the business operations when experience and common-sense dictates.

Qualifications:

• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
• Capability to lift and carry packages of varying weight
• Proficiency in using GPS systems to find addresses quickly
• Ability to interact with customers in a polite and professional manner
• Maintain a schedule to ensure packages are delivered on time
