Avera is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

Job Summary

The Wound Ostomy Nurse operates in a collaborative role with nursing staff and physicians, as a clinician, educator, and resource for patients with wound fistulas, skin care problem and ostomy needs.

Education and/or Experience

• Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure required.
• Current certification as wound/ostomy nurse required.

Work Schedule

• Varied Shifts; 80hrs/2wks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

• $32.50 - $48.75 per hour
