About This Position

Position Overview:
Ensure Guests receive the highest quality food; make sure that orders are prepared and garnished properly, and delivered to the Guest at the appropriate hot or cold temperature.

Essential Functions:
  • Positive attitude with willingness to interact with all guests.
  • Assemble and inspect food orders to ensure that orders are prepared to Company standards and specifications, including garnishing food with appropriate accompanying items.
  • Prioritize and make quick decisions to ensure that all Guests are served quality food made to spec within appropriate timelines.
  • Read tickets/KDS correctly to ensure that all orders are complete.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with the Kitchen (BOH), Servers (FOH), Managers and other employees regarding cook times, potential problems, and other issues, in a calm and effective manner.
  • Keep prepared food continuously flowing out of the kitchen.
  • Rotate and stock product as needed.
  • Complete assigned prep work to stock and set up station. Breaks down and cleans station thoroughly every day.
  • Adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
  • Assist other Team Members as needed or when business needs dictate.

    Qualification Standards:
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs., many times per shift.
  • Frequent bending and stooping.
  • Stands/Walks 100% of shift.
  • Work frequently in damp, hot work environment.
  • Able to hold items with hands (knives, pans) for extended periods of time, with up to 5 lbs. of weight.
  • Use hands 90% of shift.
  • Ability to read English.
