Service Technician (Part-time)

This is a fully onsite position – remote work is not available.

What You’ll Do

We pride ourselves on staying ahead of the curve as we help our customers optimize and improve their service delivery models. We’re excited to be entering a new transformative phase of our stack as we explore new products, and new capabilities and embrace the growing data-driven demands of these environments.

As we continue to expand our presence across the United States, we are seeking a Service Technician to support our kiosk systems and related technologies. This dynamic, hands-on role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.

The candidate will be responsible for supporting our product by acting as the liaison between the customer and other internal teams.

Main responsibilities

  • Perform on-site repairs and maintenance of Embross systems, including kiosks.
  • Provide immediate technical support and troubleshooting for deployed systems.
  • Collaborate with Level 3 Support Teams in Atlanta and other locations.
  • Deliver high-quality, customer-focused service and act as a key liaison between clients and internal teams.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline support processes and improve service delivery.
  • Deliver training to customers when required.

Basic Requirements

  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in hardware support.
  • Strong understanding of PC networking and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, AD, DHCP, DNS).
  • Experience in configuration and troubleshooting of J2EE, web servers, and Windows desktop environments.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 and working knowledge of Oracle/SQL databases.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to represent Embross professionally on-site.
  • Proactive approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Education & Qualifications

Diploma/ Certification in computer science/ IT or a related field.

Travel

  • Position is based at airports in the USA.
  • Airport parking fee will be reimbursed.

Office Hours

20 hours per week, with availability on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as required.

Security Checks

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of all applicable security checks.
