As a Host at Tio Taco + Tequila Marlboro, you are the first and last impression for our guests. You are responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment, managing the flow of the dining room, and ensuring guests are seated efficiently and courteously. Your role is essential in setting the tone for a GREAT guest experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Exemplify the Tio’s Experience: Dedicate oneself to delivering GREAT guest service, consistently going above and beyond for both guests and team members.

1. Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival.
2. Manage waitlists and reservations using the restaurant’s seating system.
3. Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
4. Communicate wait times accurately and manage guest expectations.
5. Answer phones and assist with takeout orders or general inquiries.
6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area.
7. Collaborate with servers, bussers, and management to ensure smooth seating flow.
8. Follow all health and safety regulations.
9. Communicate effectively with team members and management.
