Registered Nurse (Home Care) at FREEDOM HOME CARE LLC – Annapolis, Maryland

Registered Nurse (RN) position needed for our growing home care agency providing in-home personal care and medication management to seniors and patients with disabilities. Home care experience is a plus.

Key tasks include: Client Assessments & Supervisory Visits plus Caregiver Competencies

Compensation is paid per assessment, supervisory visit, or caregiver competency.

Skills:

• Client health assessments & supervisory visits
• Knowledge of proper protocols for medication management
• Basic knowledge of local, state (COMAR), and federal regulations
• Caregiver competencies

Job Function:

• Perform the initial visit and assessment to develop the plan of care, completing all required paperwork and software updates of new patients throughout the Anne Arundel county and surrounding area
• Perform supervisory visits to current patients on a regular basis
• Facilitate training, orientation, supervision and evaluation of caregivers
• Complete client discharges when needed

Certifications/Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
• Current Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Maryland
• CPR & First Aid certified
• Home care agency experience a plus
• Certified to provide CPR & First Aid and CMT training classes a plus
• Must have a drivers license and car insurance
