Director of Medical-Surgical Nursing at Top Tier Reps LLC – West Palm Beacha, Florida

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Medical-Surgical Nursing to lead our Med-Surg department. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, optimizing departmental operations, and fostering a culture of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the Medical-Surgical Department, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Implement continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and service delivery.
• Conduct daily nurse leader rounds to manage patient expectations and experiences.
• Ensure staff adherence to hourly rounding protocols.
• Promote a culture of recognition through staff acknowledgment and "Manage Up" practices.
• Serve as a liaison among patients, their representatives, physicians, and employees.
• Optimize resource utilization to maximize productivity and minimize costs.

Qualifications:

• Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license or recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements).
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Current Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) certification or obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Fingerprint clearance as required.
• Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in a Medical-Surgical department within an acute care setting.JazzHR Help
