Description Job Code:17498 Job Title: Senior Tax Manager (CPA) Salary: $165,000.00 We have partnered with a large CPA firm in the Orlando, FL area to provide them with a Senior Tax Manager. Responsibilities of the Senior Tax Manager: Responsible for, but not limited to, overseeing the tax practice area and staff, assisting partners with business development, managing client relationships and expectations, and researching practice area issues, and providing guidance to partners and other management. The ideal candidate will possess very strong leadership, strategic planning, communication, business development, and problem-solving skills. Participate in knowledge management, professional development, and Firm administrative activities. Builds relationships and communicates effectively to positively influence peers and other stakeholders. Ensure complete client satisfaction through open communication, managing expectations, meeting deadlines, and proactively sharing tax saving strategies Work closely with partners and staff on client management, professional development, and business development activities. Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes. Drafts reports, identify key issues/risks, and proposes tax planning and implementation strategies for clients. Requirements of the Senior Tax Manager: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, prefer Master’s and at least 8 years of public accounting experience, preferably in a middle-market environment. CPA designation is required. Proficiency with ProSystems Tax, Fixed Assets, and Engagement a plus! Job Type: Full-time
