RN: Registered Nurse at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

The WK Ruston Pediatrics are looking for a bright, energetic RN who loves children. She will be working in the Ruston Pediatric clinic, with Dr. Langiulli and a nurse practitioner. They are a very busy pediatric care clinic that provides care to the local community and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a strong work ethic, critical thinking and organizational skills, attention to detail, and flexibility. The RN will need to be familiar with pediatric protocols, vaccine management, VIS with medication management and storage. They will need to know the lab processes, draw blood. They will obtain strep, COVID and flu swabs. This employee will need to be dependable with excellent communications skills. Responsibilities will include taking EKG, taking vital signs, obtaining height and weight, growth and development charts, answering and returning phone calls, refills and scheduling tests and procedures as ordered. Hospital and department orientation will be provided upon completion of the hiring process, as well as training on our enterprise - wide management system, including health records. You will work Monday through Friday 8:00 to 5:00 pm.
