Pattern Repair
As a Pattern Repair team member at ASC, you will work in the Pattern Shop and have the opportunity to repair and maintain the upkeep of all Foundry Patterns and Core Boxes. You will work closely with the Pattern Shop Supervisor and Journeyman Pattern Makers.
Key Responsibilities
- General repair and upkeep of Foundry Patterns and Core Boxes
- Using hand tools (drills, wrenches, etc…)
- Cutting metals and plastics using mills, lathes and saws
- Sanding, polishing and deburring parts
- Communicating with Journeyman Pattern Makers
- Utilizing measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers etc…)
- Tasks
- Machine maintenance (cleaning, greasing/oiling manual equipment)
- Monitoring various Pattern Shop supplies and inventory
- Obtaining items from the Storeroom
- Maintaining a weekly log of work performed

What You Will Bring
- Requires standing up to 10 hours per day
- Repetitive use of both hands and feet up to 10 hours per day
- Constant awareness of surrounding
Additional responsibilities and duties may be assigned. Employee must be able to obtain a tow motor license and successfully pass LOTO and confined space training.

Compensation
- $24.04 per hour, plus a $2.00/hour shift differential for second and third shifts
