Physician Assistant at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

WK Quick Care is seeking a dedicated and experienced mid-level practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team at our Pierremont, Bossier, South and Forbing clinics. This role involves providing high-quality, patient-centered care while effectively managing diverse urgent medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough assessments and physical examinations to patients of all ages presenting with urgent medical needs.

- Diagnose and treat a variety of acute medical conditions, injuries, and illnesses.

- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to guide treatment plans.

- Provide patient education on health maintenance and preventive care.

- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

- Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

- Flexibility working at various locations and adjusting schedules as needed.

Qualifications:

- Active NP or PA license in the state of Louisiana.

- Previous experience in family practice, urgent care, or emergency medicine.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
