Are you an experienced and qualified Registered Medication Aid with a commitment to exceptional patient care? We are hiring for a Full-Time evening shift RMA. 68-hour RMA certification is required. Compensation:$18.25 - $20 hourly
Responsibilities:- Accurately administer prescribed medications to residents in accordance with physician orders, facility policy, and Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) regulations
- Document medication administration in the Medication Administration Record
- Monitor residents for side effects or adverse reactions and report promptly to the nursing supervisor
- Ensure controlled substances are properly counted, secured, and documented
- Observe, report, and document changes in residents' physical, emotional, or cognitive condition
- Follow all infection control, safety, and emergency protocols
- Communicate effectively and professionally with residents, visitors, families, physicians, and other staff members
- Provide quality patient care with respect and dignity
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills are a necessity
- Current unrestricted Virginia Board of Nursing Registered Medication Aid certificate
- 2 years of supervisory experience
- Dependable
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to lift 35+ pounds and be on your feet for extended periods of time
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to work as a team player and get along with others
- Reliable transportation
