About This Position

Position Summary

  • The Service Lead Technician is responsible for locating leaks and performing professional quality roof repairs in a safe and timely manner, while treating customers and fellow employees with courtesy and respect.
  • Job duties also include the completion of defined scope projects and preventative maintenance activities.
  • Must have knowledge of all roof systems (B.U.R, Modified Bitumen, EPDM, TPO/PVC Membranes, Tile, Shingles, Coating, Metal Roof etc.)

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for making decision on what to repair and how to fix the leak,
  • Responsible for using the different apps and how to check into the portal.
  • Responsible for all paperwork and communications with customers.
  • Responsible for when is safe to open the roof because of the weather.
  • Responsible for communicating with General Contractor for larger scope of work.
  • Communicates with customer about what have found and his opinion about the roof and how to fix it.
  • Responsible for assisting in the operation and maintenance of all company issued equipment such as: vehicles, power tools, phones, hand tools, etc.
  • Maintain trucks to ensure they are always stocked and cleaned inside and out.
  • Utilize industry standard manufacturer approved repair techniques.
  • Complete daily assignments in a timely manner with completion of proper paperwork.
  • Responsible for the crew’s safety.
  • Responsible for driving times.
  • Responsible for the roof repair’s methods to be implemented.
  • Responsible for all materials to be used for repairing and fixing leaks.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

Education

  • NA

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Ability to withstand demands of extreme weather conditions and high temperatures.
  • Comfortable climbing ladders up to 60 ft tall
  • Ability to lift 100 lbs or more.
  • Capable of bending over most of the day and working on knees excessively throughout the day
  • Able to pass Pre-Employment Drug and Agility screening.
  • Able to pass a government background check per project requirements.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
  • Knowledge of basic roofing tools.
  • · Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Requires face-to-face discussions with individuals or teams, contact with others (face-to-face, by telephone, or otherwise),
  • Includes exposure to contaminants.
  • Requires working in very hot (above 90 F degrees) or very cold (below 32 F degrees) temperatures.
  • Requires making decisions that impact the results of co-workers, clients or the company

  • Requires being exact or highly accurate
  • Requires meeting strict deadlines.
