Job Summary
The Vice President, Business Applications leads Avera’s efforts in leveraging healthcare and business applications to enhance patient care, streamline operations, and drive innovation. This position will be responsible to ensure alignment with operational goals with information technology initiatives to ensure optimal operational delivery and outcomes.
This position drives the design, development, application and adoption of technology-based innovations and solutions that assist users in the delivery of services across the continuum of the Avera as well as other care settings. This leader will work in partnership with Information Technology and Operational Teams (revenue cycle, quality, and other end users) to champion solutions and drive change.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Clinical Specialty or a related field required.
- Masters degree preferred.
- More than 10 years of experience, specifically in a healthcare delivery and operational setting.
- More than 10 years progressive, senior level IT management and leadership experience.
