Registered Radiology/Clinical Satelite Tech - Radiology - Wapakoneta at Lima Memorial Health System – Lima, Ohio

Functioning within the Health System’s mission, values, objectives, procedures and policies, with the direction and supervision of the lead tech and Director of Radiology, the Registered Technologist performs Diagnostic Radiographic Services, Phlebotomy Services, EKGs, Patient Registration, specific Occupational Health Tests and Services, provides quality patient care for Satellite offices and main campus sites. Practices Radiation Protection and assists physicians with imaging procedures.

Education: Graduate of the AMA accredited Radiography Technology program or equivalent.

Licensure/Certification: Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). Certified by the Ohio Department of Health. Current BLS required.

Experience: Previous x-ray experience preferred.

Skills: Performs a variety of diagnostic radiology exams including, general xrays, Phlebotomy Services, EKGs, Patient Registration, specific Occupational Health Tests and Services.
Exhibits patience and tact in dealing with ill patients.
Need to work with speed and proficiency while under stress.
Must be cooperative with areas when needed.
Show flexibility with work schedule changes.
Have a courteous and respectful demeanor with associates, physicians and patients.
