Central City Brewers and Distillers is a craft brewery in the business of developing and selling international award-winning premium craft beer and high-quality distilled spirits brewed without compromise. JOB SUMMARY

Mark Anthony Brewing Canada, dba Central City Brewers and Distillers, is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Sanitation and Equipment Care Labourer to join our team. This individual will be primarily responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the depalletizer and pasteurization areas while assisting with general labour duties across the production floor. The role requires attention to detail and a commitment to supporting daily operations by ensuring equipment and work areas are kept clean and functional.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Depalletizer & Pasteurization Area Cleaning:
  1. Thoroughly clean and sanitize the depalletizer and pasteurization floor areas at the start and end of each shift.
  2. Monitor cleanliness of equipment, floors, and surrounding areas, ensuring all are kept in top condition.
  3. Follow company standards for cleaning and sanitation, using appropriate cleaning agents and techniques.
  4. Assist with cleaning of pasteurization equipment and related machinery to ensure proper hygiene and functionality.
• General Labor Support:
  1. Perform general labor duties to support production needs, including moving materials, cleaning workspaces, and assisting team members.
  2. Help with basic machine setups and teardowns, as needed.
  3. Organize tools, equipment, and supplies to ensure a smooth workflow on the production floor.
• Safety and Compliance:
  1. Adhere to all safety, health, and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  2. Report any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or cleaning deficiencies to the supervisor.
  3. Actively participate in safety meetings and maintain a safe and clean workspace at all times.
• Collaboration:
  1. Work closely with other team members to support daily production goals and maintain cleanliness standards.
  2. Assist the maintenance team when needed to ensure operational efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS/DESIRED ATTRIBUTES

• Previous general labor or sanitation experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning and sanitation practices, ideally in a food, beverage, or brewing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
