Warehouse and Transportation Loadout

Daily Responsibilities:

• Receive, stage and load furniture for same day operation
• Overnight Shift- ranging 10pm-8:30am
• Unload 53' trailers and load outbounds with recyclables and return furniture
• Work closely with delivery contractors, building staff and transportation manager to ensure all delivery pieces are accounted for and in good condition
• Prepare routes for loadout and delivery- ensure sequencing and route lanes are maintained
• Wrap product with blanket and/or bubble wrap as needed
• Ensure safety processes and procedures are met or exceeded
• Work with all levels of management and staff to build a positive work environment and improve team morale

Requirements:

• 1 year warehouse and/or logistics experience
• Ability to repeatedly lift 50+ lbs.
• Must be able to read ID labels, shipping tickets, SKU/Stock numbers and manifests
• Microsoft Office Suite experience, email and some excel
• Able to communicate well with all levels of management, exceptional interpersonal skills
• Able to work in non-air-conditioned environment
• Detail oriented- department failures can cause inaccurate contractor/client claims
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, delivering accurate and consistent results
