Hospice Outreach Coordinator at Medcure, Inc. – Henderson, Nevada

Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Hospice outreach coorinator to raise awareness about whole-body donation and foster meaningful relationships within the end-of-life care community. This role combines education, outreach, and advocacy, with a focus on increasing donor referrals through thoughtful engagement and informative programming. The ideal candidate is an empathetic communicator with a deep respect for the donation process and a drive to support MedCure’s mission through community connection and education.

Key Responsibilities:

● Research to identify the referral sources within assigned geographic areas.

● Schedule webinars and in services with identified sources to provide education to the healthcare team.

● Conduct individual and group webinars on whole-body donation leading to healthcare workers informing their patients about this option.

● Maintain consistent contact with referral relationships developed to identify their experience with our program, follow up on any feedback/issues identified, and provide additional education as needed.

● Record contact information and maintain daily notes on activities performed with referral sources in the company’s database program.

● Perform any directly related duties assigned by the Marketing Manager.

● Perform assigned duties with minimum personal supervision from Marketing Manager.

● Work with Funeral Home Liaison to identify territories that need more coverage.

● Follow up with hospices in territories the Transport Liaison has opened or reopened coverage in.

● Assist with Funeral Home Liaison in verifying death certificates, doing funeral home outreach and handling incidents.

Qualifications:

● 3+ years of experience in healthcare outreach, community education, or a related field, preferably within end-of-life care settings.

● Proven ability to identify, engage, and build relationships with referral sources such as hospices, home health agencies, and other care providers.

● Strong organizational skills with a consistent track record of maintaining accurate records, timely follow-ups, and thorough documentation of outreach activities.

● Excellent communication skills with a compassionate, empathetic approach to sensitive subject matter.

● Comfortable scheduling and coordinating educational events such as in-services, or tables at trade shows and conferences.

● Ability to work independently while managing a flexible outreach schedule.

● Willingness to travel regularly within an assigned geographic region; reliable transportation required, travel expenses covered.
