About the Role:
The Security Guard plays a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of personnel, property, and assets within assigned locations across the United States. This position involves vigilant monitoring of access points, ensuring that only authorized individuals enter secured areas, and responding promptly to any security breaches or emergencies. The Security Guard will utilize various technologies, including wireless communication devices and fire alarm systems, to effectively coordinate with team members and emergency responders. Additionally, the role requires proactive identification and mitigation of potential security risks, including environmental hazards and fire safety concerns. Ultimately, the Security Guard ensures a secure environment that supports the uninterrupted operation of the organization and the well-being of all occupants.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid security guard license or certification as required by state regulations.
- Basic knowledge of access control procedures and security protocols.
- Ability to operate radio communication devices and understand fire alarm systems.
- Physical capability to perform repetitive motions and conduct patrols for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in security or asset protection roles.

Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain communication equipment such as radios to coordinate with security personnel and emergency services.
- Respond promptly to fire alarms, environmental control alerts, and other emergency situations, following established protocols.
- Document incidents, prepare detailed reports, and maintain accurate logs of daily activities and security-related occurrences.
