This role supports the planning and execution of mission-driven community events that bring together educators, volunteers, and partners engaged in advancing STEM education for underserved students. You will help design and coordinate engaging experiences that strengthen community participation and visibility across programs. The position involves managing logistics, communications, and event materials to ensure smooth and impactful delivery. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to align event execution with organizational goals. This is a remote, highly collaborative role that requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts. The environment is flexible and purpose-driven, focused on creating meaningful educational impact through well-executed engagement initiatives.
You will be responsible for coordinating and delivering virtual and in-person events that support community engagement and program visibility. This includes managing logistics, communications, and promotional efforts to ensure successful execution aligned with organizational needs.
- Plan, organize, and execute remote events for the educator and instructor community
- Coordinate event logistics including scheduling, materials, and overall execution planning
- Order and manage event supplies and marketing collateral for distribution as needed
- Ensure proper handling of image release permissions and related documentation
- Manage event timelines, budgets, and operational details to support smooth delivery
- Collaborate with communications teams to create post-event content such as social media updates and blog posts
- Support continuous improvement of event experiences through coordination and feedback integration
This role requires strong organizational abilities and comfort working in a remote, collaborative environment. You should be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while ensuring accuracy, communication, and follow-through across all event activities.
