Shopify Developer for a Sports E-Commerce

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Shopify Developer for a Sports E-Commerce in the United States.

This role is ideal for a developer who thrives at the intersection of engineering, design, and performance marketing. You will be responsible for building and optimizing high-converting Shopify storefronts for a fast-growing sports e-commerce brand focused on performance-driven products. The work is highly hands-on, requiring both technical depth and commercial awareness to improve conversion rates and user experience. You will collaborate closely with marketing and creative teams to rapidly test, iterate, and deploy new ideas. From landing pages to product funnels, your work will directly influence revenue and customer engagement. This is a fast-paced environment where experimentation, data, and execution speed are key to success.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes and storefronts, ensuring scalable and high-performance builds
  • Implement custom functionality using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript while translating Figma designs into pixel-perfect pages
  • Optimize site performance, responsiveness, and loading speed to improve user experience and conversions
  • Build and continuously improve landing pages, product pages, collection pages, and conversion funnels
  • Design and deploy CRO-focused experiments using Intelligems, analyzing performance data to guide improvements
  • Collaborate with marketing and copy teams to test offers, messaging, layouts, and user journeys
  • Develop and maintain advertorials, listicles, and quiz funnels integrated into Shopify environments
  • Ensure seamless integration with Shopify apps, backend systems, and tracking tools
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of proven experience in Shopify development with a strong portfolio of storefront builds
  • Advanced proficiency in Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Strong experience translating Figma designs into functional, production-ready Shopify pages
  • Solid understanding of Shopify apps, APIs, and custom integrations
  • Hands-on experience with Intelligems is required
  • Good knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and conversion rate optimization principles
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and iterate quickly
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven, and collaborative environment
