Job Summary:

Responsible for managing all aspects of the patient intake process, including establishing and maintaining positive relationships with patients, family members and referral sources, and responding to requests and concerns.

Education Requirements:

A graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a bachelor's degree is required.

Certification/Licensure Requirements:

Licensed as a Registered Nurse within the state that you reside. If not in Mississippi, you must have a compact state licensure as a registered nurse.

Experience/Qualifications/Skills:

Three years' of experience as a registered nurse in a healthcare setting with one year's experience in a supervisory role. ACLS and PALS certifications are required.

Language/Communication Skills:

English required. Multilingual capabilities enhance the ability to perform this job. Must have the ability to speak effectively and professionally to all staff, management and all outside individuals at all levels from elementary to professional.

Reasoning Abilities:

Must have the ability to apply non-judgmental reasoning capabilities whenever necessary when dealing with staff, patients, and family members. Critical thinking and multitasking are a must. Must have reasonable reflective thinking when deciding what to do or believe. Must possess purposeful, self-regulatory judgment which results in interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and inference, as well as explanation of the evidential, conceptual, methodological, criteriological or contextual considerations upon which that judgment is based.
