Construction Materials Testing Field Technician at Ninyo & Moore – North Salt Lake, Utah

Job Description: Ninyo & Moore, a SOCOTEC Company, has immediate openings for a Soils and Materials testing Field Technician in Salt Lake City, Utah. The successful candidate will conduct field density testing of soil utility backfill, mass grading, paving subgrade, proof-rolling observation experience, asphalt production and density testing as well as field concrete sampling and testing.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have soils field testing experience and a current radiation user safety certificate. Experience with field testing of concrete with current ACI Field I certification required; asphalt experience would be ideal but not required. Experience in construction inspection, soils and materials testing, and appropriate field certifications including WAQTC is a plus.

Required Skills: Candidate should have at least 2 years of construction materials testing, excellent mathematical, verbal and written communication skills, positive attitude, good organizational skills, and a strong work ethic. Must have a current valid driver's license and very good driving record.
