We are currently looking for a UX Accessibility Expert in United Kingdom.As a UX Accessibility Expert, you will play a key role in ensuring digital products are inclusive, usable, and accessible for all users. You will collaborate closely with product and design teams to embed accessibility best practices across design systems and product workflows. This role focuses on conducting accessibility audits, defining standards, and training teams to elevate usability and inclusivity. Your work will directly impact millions of users, improving experiences and fostering trust in digital interactions. You will operate in a fast-paced, innovative environment where your expertise guides both current and future product design. This position is remote, allowing for flexibility while contributing to a globally impactful product. Contractor-level experience and advanced accessibility knowledge are essential for success in this role.Accountabilities:
  • Conduct accessibility audits across products, ensuring compliance with WCAG and other relevant standards
  • Develop and maintain clear accessibility guidelines, best practices, and design system recommendations
  • Partner with designers and product teams to review designs and implement accessible solutions
  • Lead training sessions and workshops to embed accessibility thinking across teams
  • Provide hands-on support and guidance for inclusive design in new features and product enhancements
  • Monitor accessibility metrics, usability testing results, and user feedback to continuously improve products
Requirements:
  • Proven expertise in accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles
  • Strong understanding of UX, design systems, and accessibility-focused workflows
  • Experience conducting accessibility audits and creating actionable guidelines
  • Ability to collaborate with design and product teams, providing hands-on mentorship and training
  • Strong communication skills to translate technical accessibility concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Expert-level knowledge in accessibility tools, testing methods, and assistive technologies
  • Previous experience in a remote, fast-paced, product-focused environment is preferred
  • Contractor-level availability for an initial ~6 month engagement, with potential extension
