About This Position
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and compassionate caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a 91-year-old client in a home setting. The schedule for this role is Wednesday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM. This position focuses on supporting daily routines, promoting independence, ensuring safety, and providing companionship throughout the shift. The ideal caregiver is attentive, patient, and comfortable assisting with mobility support and routine personal care tasks.
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)Provide companionship and emotional support throughout the day.
Assist with personal care and activities of daily living as needed.
Offer medication reminders according to a structured schedule.
Prepare meals, serve food, and perform kitchen clean-up.
Perform light housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, dishes, laundry, and taking out garbage.
Maintain a clean and safe environment by removing potential hazards.
Support safe mobility, including standby assistance with transfers and wheelchair support during outings.
Observe and report changes in condition or needs to the care team.
Patient, calm, and respectful toward older adults.
Reliable and punctual with strong attendance habits.
Comfortable assisting with mobility support and safety monitoring.
Detail-oriented with good communication and observation skills.
Encouraging personality that promotes independence and dignity.
Able to follow care instructions and maintain professional boundaries.

Requirements
Caregiving experience preferred (CNA/HHA a plus)
Your own vehicle that can reliably drive you to your assignments and back.
Ability to pass background check
