JOB DESCRIPTION:
Construct built-in-place or prefabricated wooden or steel forms, according to specifications, for pouring concrete structures.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
- Build, set, and strip forms.
- Pour, puddle, and vibrate concrete.
- Tie rebar walls, and cages.
- Assist other craftsmen as needed.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Complete understanding of forming systems.
- Ability to identify material used in forming systems.
- Ability to perform simple layouts.
- Ability to operate power tools.
- Knowledge of safety practices and protocols.
- Full set of hand tools:
- Tool bag, hammer, tape measure, pliers, speed square, level, chalk box, and plumb-bob.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Climb and maintain balance on scaffold or walkway
- See well (either naturally or with correction)
- Distinguish colors
- Reach for, handle and grasp wires and hand tools
- Bend, crouch and work in small spaces
- Lift and carry objects weighing up to 100 pounds
- Be comfortable working at various heights
Environment is exclusively outdoors; thus, job often involves all weather extremes. Work requires alert individuals with balance and physical strength. Workers must be able to do lift up to 100 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 50 pounds on a constant basis.
