About This Position

Role Summary
As a Breakfast Attendant, you are the first point of contact for our guests each morning. Your goal is to provide a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining a clean, well-stocked, and organized breakfast area. This role is fast-paced and requires a blend of hospitality, food safety, and multitasking.

Key Responsibilities
Service & Hospitality
• Warmly greet guests as they enter the breakfast area, creating a friendly and inviting "home away from home" environment.
• Respond to guest inquiries regarding ingredients (allergies), hotel amenities, or local directions.
• Monitor the dining area to anticipate guest needs, such as refilling coffee or clearing finished plates.
Operations & Maintenance
• Set up the breakfast buffet including hot stations, cold displays, and beverage bars according to brand standards.
• Maintain food levels throughout the shift, ensuring items are replenished before they run out.
• Ensure food safety by checking temperatures and following local health department protocols for food handling.
• Continuous cleaning: Wipe down tables, chairs, and counters throughout the morning to maintain a "sparkling" appearance.
Shift Wrap-Up
• Break down the buffet at the end of the service hours.
• Clean and sanitize all equipment (waffle makers, juice machines, coffee urns).
• Inventory & Prep: Note any low stock items for the next order and prep dry goods for the following morning’s shift.

Qualifications & Skills
• Early Bird Mentality: Must be reliable and punctual for early morning start times (often 5:00 AM or 6:00 AM).
• Customer-First Attitude: Natural ability to be polite and helpful, even during the "morning rush."
• Physical Agility: Ability to remain on your feet for the duration of the shift and lift up to 25 lbs (e.g., milk crates or food trays).
• Food Safety Knowledge: Prior experience with food handling is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
Why Join Us?
• Early shifts mean you have your entire afternoon and evening free.
• Great entry-level opportunity into the hospitality industry.
