Marketing Intern at Estes Industries – Penrose, Colorado

The Digital Marketing Intern must be a highly motivated, creative individual with an eye for detail. This position is responsible for supporting the marketing department’s initiatives. Tasks will vary based on the needs of the department but will be focused on helping the team to drive engagement in our Social Media platforms. The right candidate will be very flexible and open to learning new skills. As the digital marketing intern, you will report to the Marketing Director but may take direction from different members of the digital marketing team.

Essential Functions

• Support the Marketing team in day-to-day tasks.
• Strives for the highest quality across assigned task
• Learn about best practices in marketing and apply them to assignments
• Work with the marketing team and art department to obtain all social media graphics and video as necessary
• Post in each channel in the cadence assigned
• Stay up to date with industry trends and new social platforms.
• Understand the Estes Voice and Personas
• Gain hands-on experience and knowledge in a fast-paced creative atmosphere. Willing to learn from experienced marketers and put that knowledge into action
• Demonstrate the ability to problem solve
• Additional duties may be assigned to support the digital marketing department as necessary

Competencies and Required Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be attending college
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional ability to pay close attention to details
• Understanding of marketing principles
• Demonstrated ability to adhere to deadlines
• Strong communication skills
• Experience as a data entry assistant or marketing assistant a plus
• Knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Tiktok
• Handles rejection and constructive criticism well

Supervisory Responsibility

• This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Salary: $18.00 per hour
