Here's What You Need
- H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required
- 3 months paramedic experience or completion of a paramedic internship Required
- 1 Year paramedic experience in EMS or fire department Preferred
- Paramedic experience strongly preferred
- EMT-P - Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic Upon Hire Required Or
- LP - Licensed Paramedic Upon Hire Required
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Required And
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required And
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support 90 Days Required And
- CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Required
- Possesses organizational skills to function in a fast paced environment, positive interpersonal skills, good verbal and written communication skills, able to perform basic computer skills.
What You Will Do
- Performs technical skills that are adapted to reflect the population-specific and developmental needs of the patient.
- Provides safe patient care under the delegation of appropriate Physician and competency sign-off.
- Other duties as appropriately delegated by RN.
