PDQ's Core Values: Honesty, Ownership, Collaboration and Improvement

Job Description:

  • Before you apply, please note:
    • This is a hybrid role open to candidates within commuting distance of our South Salt Lake City headquarters.

As the Director of Product Management at PDQ, focused on our flagship product PDQ Connect, you’ll set product direction and ensure we deliver meaningful customer value. You’ll lead and mentor a small team of product managers, partnering closely with Engineering and Design to drive the full product lifecycle - from vision and strategy to roadmap execution and measurable results. This role balances strategic leadership with hands-on product guidance, helping the team move faster while staying grounded in customer needs and business impact.

What you'll be doing:

  • Own and evolve the product vision and strategy for PDQ Connect, grounded in customer needs, market context, and measurable outcomes (adoption, retention, expansion, satisfaction).
  • Define and drive the product roadmap, ensuring it reflects strategic priorities and is translated into clear, actionable plans your PMs can execute. This will include shaping how AI helps refine the product.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a small team of product managers, providing direction, removing obstacles, and raising the bar on product thinking and delivery.
  • Establish strong operating rhythms and standards for product management (discovery, prioritization, decision-making, communication, launch readiness), with a focus on accountability and operational excellence.
  • Partner deeply with Engineering and Design leadership to align priorities, scope, sequencing, and tradeoffs - ensuring reliable delivery and consistent customer value.
  • Drive stakeholder alignment and communication, keeping leaders and cross-functional partners informed on strategy, progress, risks, and decision points.
  • Leverage AI and modern tooling to improve product team efficiency and effectiveness - reducing busy work, accelerating synthesis, and strengthening product artifacts.

We're looking for people who have:

  • 6+ years of experience in product, including 2+ years leading product managers (Director level or equivalent).
  • Experience building customer-facing B2B SaaS products (not internal tools).
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to automate work, accelerate product delivery, and improve product quality.
  • Must be located in Utah and open to working in-office 1-2 times a week.

Who you are:

  • Ownership: You take responsibility for projects from the beginning to end, driving results and delivering to commitments.
  • Honesty: You demonstrate integrity, transparency, and ethical behaviors in all interactions.
  • Collaboration: You work effectively with cross-functional teams and proactively work with stakeholders to manage expectations.
  • Improvement: You continuously seek opportunities for growth, and learn from failure.
  • Inspiration: You can inspire those who report to you to improve and do better.
  • You have a natural ability to identify problems and create impactful solutions.
  • Experience with IT or device management is a plus.

PDQ Perks & Benefits:

PDQ offers all of the great perks and benefits you'd expect from working at a very cool tech company, and even some you might not expect, including:

  • 4-Day Work Week
  • Equity
  • Managers who champion professional development
  • 100% Premium Coverage for medical, dental and vision for you and your dependents
  • 100% Premium Coverage for Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Life, and AD&D Insurance
