Job Overview

Coastal Canvas Products is seeking a highly entrepreneurial Marketing Director & Agency Launch Leader to build and lead our marketing engine from the ground up.

This is not a traditional marketing role this is a rare ground-floor leadership opportunity.

You will learn a 50-year-old vertically integrated luxury fabrication business, design and build its entire marketing ecosystem, develop scalable systems, and ultimately help launch a specialty-contractor-focused marketing agency with Coastal Canvas as its anchor client.

This role is ideal for a marketing builder someone who wants ownership, long-term upside, and the opportunity to create something scalable and valuable. You will not just run campaigns. You will build infrastructure.

Coastal Canvas Products is a 50-year-old, Savannah-based luxury outdoor architectural systems company. We design, fabricate, and install:

• High-end pergolas

• Architectural shade systems

• Motorized screens

• Custom outdoor fabrication systems

We serve some of the most exclusive residential and commercial properties on the East Coast. We are not a commodity awning company we are a craft-driven, architectural-level operation producing high-end systems that most competitors cannot replicate.

We are now investing in building a world-class marketing engine and ultimately a specialty marketing agency focused on high-end trade and construction companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Marketing Infrastructure Development

  • Design and oversee full website strategy and development

  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategy

  • Manage Google and Meta paid advertising campaigns

  • Build and grow organic social media presence

  • Oversee professional photo and video production strategy

  • Develop and manage email marketing systems

  • Refine and elevate brand positioning across all platforms

  • Track performance metrics including traffic, cost per lead, and conversion rates

• Systems & Vendor Management

  • Identify marketing gaps and strategic growth opportunities

  • Source and vet freelancers, agencies, or specialists when needed

  • Oversee execution while maintaining strategic control

  • Build scalable, documented processes that can be replicated

• Agency Development & Growth Strategy

  • Create repeatable marketing frameworks for trade businesses

  • Prepare systems to onboard additional specialty construction clients

  • Contribute to agency structure, service packaging, and pricing

  • Help formalize long-term revenue-share and ownership structure

Qualifications

• Proven experience executing multi-channel marketing strategy

• Demonstrated success with SEO, paid advertising, and digital campaign performance

• Experience managing vendors, freelancers, or contractors

• Strong analytical ability with performance tracking and KPI management

• Entrepreneurial mindset with an ownership mentality

• Ability to work independently without constant oversight

• Willingness to reside in or relocate to Savannah, GA

Preferred

• Experience running a freelance business, consulting operation, or startup

• Familiarity with luxury markets, specialty trades, or construction industries

• Portfolio demonstrating measurable campaign success

Compensation & Benefits

• $65,000$75,000 base salary (based on demonstrated experience and ability)

• Quarterly performance bonuses

• $5,000$10,000 annual KPI-based bonus potential
