Shift: 1st Shift – 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (Monday–Friday)
Overtime: Available
Compensation: $25–$35 per hour (based on experience)

About the Role

As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you will oversee and perform advanced maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within an industrial facility. This senior-level position plays a key role in preventive maintenance strategy, complex equipment repairs, and mentoring junior technicians.

You will help ensure all systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulatory standards while supporting larger maintenance projects and continuous improvement efforts.


What You’ll Do
  • Perform advanced maintenance and repair on mechanical systems, motors, pumps, compressors, and control systems
  • Troubleshoot complex equipment and machinery issues, diagnosing root causes and implementing corrective actions
  • Lead and mentor junior maintenance technicians to ensure high-quality workmanship and skill development
  • Develop, implement, and oversee preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and lead efficient repair efforts
  • Review and approve work orders and maintenance schedules
  • Assist in planning and executing major projects, including equipment installations and facility upgrades
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, including parts usage and labor tracking
  • Manage spare parts inventory to ensure readiness
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA and lockout/tagout procedures
  • Support audits, inspections, and compliance checks
  • Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to align maintenance with production goals
  • Recommend improvements in maintenance practices, safety procedures, and equipment upgrades
Requirements: What We’re Looking ForRequired Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of Millwright experience and welding experience
  • 5+ years of mechanical or facilities maintenance experience
  • At least 1 year in a senior or leadership role
  • Advanced troubleshooting and repair skills in mechanical systems
  • Experience implementing preventive maintenance programs
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools (multimeters, vibration analyzers, torque wrenches)
  • Experience with CMMS systems for tracking work orders and inventory
  • Strong understanding of OSHA and safety compliance standards
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in industrial maintenance, HVAC, or mechanical/electrical systems (EPA, Certified Maintenance Manager, etc.)
  • Experience with PLCs, BAS, or industrial control systems
  • Background in manufacturing or large-scale industrial facilities
  • Project management experience including budgeting and scheduling
Technology & Physical Requirements
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Experience with vibration analysis, thermography, and other diagnostic tools
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in industrial environments
  • Willingness to work flexible hours or travel to other facilities if needed
  • Commitment to continuous learning and safety excellence
