AB Spectrum provides specialized ReggioABA™ (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy for young children (ages 1-6). Our foundation is ABA, an evidence-based therapy focused on developing communication, social, and adaptive living skills.

  • Our Model: Our centers utilize a unique Therapy Through Play model. We embrace the principles of Reggio Emilia by devising a Natural Environment Teaching (NET), child-led learning environment to deliver individualized, high-quality early intervention services in settings that replicate a natural preschool.
  • Our Team: Join our collaborative team of BCBAs, RBTs, SLPs, and Administration. You'll benefit from cross-disciplinary collaboration and unique special visits, including music facilitators, pet interactions, and other partnerships.

Role Overview & Core Details

The Director of Talent Acquisition serves as the strategic leader of our growth, directly responsible for the health of our clinician pipeline and the evolution of our employer brand. This pivotal role demands a high-level "hunter" mentality, meticulous data tracking, and a deep commitment to our culture of kindness. You aren't just filling seats; you are building the foundation of clinical excellence by finding the best RBTs and BCBAs to serve our families.

  • Regional Focus: This role is based in the St. Louis, MO metro area.
  • On-Site Requirement: Must be able to attend weekly leadership meetings most Thursdays in Florissant, MO.
  • Flexible Availability: Beyond core hours, you must have the flexibility to attend university career fairs, networking events, and clinic visits as needed to build the talent pipeline.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, or related field (Preferred)

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Recruitment & Sourcing Ownership

  • Full-Cycle Management: Own the entire recruiting lifecycle for RBTs, BCBAs, and leadership roles—from aggressive sourcing through offer and onboarding.
  • Proactive Sourcing: Act as a "hunter" by utilizing direct outreach, LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, networking, and university events to find passive talent.
  • Brand Ambassadorship: Maintain a consistent and compelling employer brand presence on LinkedIn, Indeed, and university career boards.
  • Strategy Design: Partner with Clinic Directors to forecast staffing needs and design targeted recruiting strategies for specific geographic regions.

Operations & Data Management

Recruiting Metrics: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) including time-to-fill, pipeline health, and conversion ratios to continuously improve outcomes.

  • ATS Management: Take full ownership of the Applicant Tracking System (Rippling preferred) to ensure candidate data is accurate and the process is streamlined.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate interviews, working interviews, and candidate observations with clinic leaders, ensuring a seamless experience for the clinical team.

  • White-Glove Treatment: Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through clear, enthusiastic communication and timely feedback.

Essential Qualifications

Experience & Skillset

  • ABA Expertise (Required): Must have 2+ years of recruiting experience specifically within the ABA industry. You must understand the nuances of the RBT and BCBA credentialing landscape.
  • Proven Results: Hands-on experience with high-volume hiring and managing multiple high-priority searches simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); Rippling experience is strongly preferred.
  • The Communicator: Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to influence both candidates and internal stakeholders.

The pay range for this role is:
55,000 - 65,000 USD per year(Florissant, MO)
