Accountabilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimise medication and treatment management.
  • Assess high-risk medication use and provide clinical opinions on treatment strategies.
  • Liaise with treatment providers to negotiate medication types, dosages, and utilisation.
  • Educate injured workers, employers, and stakeholders on medication use and risks.
  • Identify the need for and refer to external services like Pharmacy Reviews or Independent Medical Examinations.
  • Provide training and support to operational team members on medication management best practices.
Requirements
  • A bachelors degree in Pharmacy is essential.
  • 5 years clinical experience required.
  • Current registration in professional field.
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical practice.
  • Well established knowledge of disability and injury management best practices.
  • An understanding and experience in the personal injury industry, ideally with knowledge of workers compensation legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.
