This is a senior, field-based Medical Affairs leadership role focused on Womens Health, combining scientific expertise with strategic stakeholder engagement. You will serve as a trusted, non-promotional scientific partner to healthcare providers, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and external healthcare stakeholders. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will translate complex clinical data into meaningful educational dialogue, generate strategic insights, and contribute to evidence dissemination initiatives. The role offers the opportunity to shape medical strategy, support innovation, and strengthen scientific partnerships across a dynamic healthcare landscape. With significant travel and executive-level exposure, this position is ideal for a medically trained professional who thrives in collaborative, high-impact environments.
Accountabilities:- Engage in compliant, non-promotional scientific exchange with KOLs, healthcare providers, academic institutions, and other stakeholders, delivering objective and evidence-based medical information.
- Develop, execute, and continuously refine strategic stakeholder engagement plans aligned with Womens Health medical objectives.
- Generate and communicate actionable field insights to inform medical strategy, competitive positioning, and educational initiatives.
- Respond to unsolicited medical requests with accurate, balanced, and timely scientific information.
- Partner cross-functionally to support evidence generation, advisory boards, congress activities, and development of innovative medical education materials.
- Document stakeholder interactions, manage reporting responsibilities, and ensure full compliance with internal SOPs and regulatory standards.
- Contribute to internal training initiatives and represent Medical Affairs at scientific congresses and industry events.
- Maintain operational excellence through disciplined planning, expense management, and adherence to ethical and regulatory frameworks.
Requirements:
- Advanced scientific degree (MD, PhD, or PharmD) required.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or clinical healthcare environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in OB/GYN and Womens Health therapeutic areas.
- Deep understanding of U.S. Medical Science Liaison roles, clinical trial design, regulatory standards, and healthcare compliance frameworks (including federal/state promotional laws and professional codes).
- Strong ability to interpret and present complex clinical data, including statistical analyses and scientific publications.
- Proven success building and managing collaborative relationships with KOLs, academic institutions, and patient advocacy groups.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- High level of autonomy, accountability, and adaptability in fast-evolving environments.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively (5080%) across assigned territories.
