IT Helpdesk Specialist I at Mando America Corp – Hogansville, Georgia

Job Purpose:

To provide front-line technical support by troubleshooting basic issues and supporting other IT members in resolving problems.

Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned as needed)

1. Install, troubleshoot and repair minor computer, printer, hardware and software issues.
2. Install computer peripheral components, such as memory, circuit boards & Other parts.
3. Install Software / Packages such as Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Drawing Software and any other approved applications.
4. Provide & Manage Cable Connections for Telephone & Network.
5. Manage all the Equipment in IT Room and storage.
6. Manage IT supplies and oversee procurement and purchasing process.
7. Manage and prioritize Helpdesk tickets using helpdesk software.
8. Manage and track all IT assets (hardware & software).

Qualifications:

Prefer - Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Related Field with 1 year of experience.

Technical Competencies:

1. Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Office, emailing clients, and common business applications.
2. Troubleshooting PC, printers, scanners, PDA, and tablets.
3. Basic understanding of IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi setup and troubleshooting.

Non-Technical Competencies:

1. Work well with other IT members and teams.
2. Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor when working with users.
3. Logical approach to diagnosing issues and identifying root causes.

Supervisory Responsibility: None
