Job Description

We’re looking for Physical Therapist Assistants who are passionate about helping patients restore movement and function. In this role, you’ll perform direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, utilize therapeutic techniques to relieve pain, increase strength, and improve mobility, and work one-on-one with patients while documenting care clearly and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient treatment using therapeutic procedures and modalities

• Follow treatment plans under the supervision of a physical therapist

• Document all treatment provided in a clear and concise manner

• Apply physical therapy principles while ensuring patient safety

• Support departmental compliance with accreditation standards

Collaborative Teamwork

This role involves working closely with our team to deliver effective, patient-focused services and contribute to a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program or successful CA Board exam challenger

• Current California PTA license

• Competency in physical therapy techniques and use of therapy equipment

• Knowledge of accreditation and compliance standards

• BLS certification required and maintained

• Recommended affiliation with APTA

• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in the English language

• Ability to follow therapist direction and department policies

• Must be able to put into practice Service Excellence skills with our patients, families, coworkers, and community
