This role is a strategic and operationally focused leadership position responsible for driving financial strategy across a multi-subsidiary, multi-national professional services environment. The CFO will oversee global accounting, finance, treasury, and internal controls while ensuring compliance with international accounting standards and corporate policies. As a key member of the executive leadership team, you will provide financial insights to guide growth, optimize resource economics, and support mergers and acquisitions. This role also involves mentoring and leading a centralized finance team, enhancing financial processes, and partnering with subsidiary leaders to balance operational autonomy with corporate alignment. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution and cross-functional influence.
- Lead and manage global finance, accounting, treasury, tax, and internal control operations to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.
- Develop and execute overarching financial strategy, capital allocation, and long-term growth initiatives in partnership with the CEO and executive team.
- Serve as the primary advisor to the Board, CEO, and subsidiary leaders on valuation, working capital, debt strategy, and shareholder value creation.
- Oversee M&A activities, from valuation and diligence to post-acquisition integration, ensuring strategic alignment and value realization.
- Drive operational excellence by implementing KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to monitor utilization, revenue, margins, and profitability.
- Optimize global treasury, cash flow, FX risk management, and multi-national payroll operations to mitigate financial and operational risk.
- Partner with legal, People, Services, and Sales teams to ensure compliance, effective contract management, and efficient incentive compensation structures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including managing cross-border and international operations.
- Deep expertise in professional services finance, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, reporting, and controls.
- Proven experience leading M&A initiatives, platform growth, and multi-subsidiary financial management.
- Mastery of GAAP, IFRS, intercompany, and international accounting and tax standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with strategic business acumen.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
- Hands-on experience with ERP and EPM/FP&A systems; Oracle NetSuite and Oracle EPM/Hyperion experience preferred.
- Comfort operating in a fully remote environment with high visibility and ability to travel as needed (up to ~20%).
