This role is a senior strategic leadership position responsible for defining and executing pricing and contracting strategies across the U.S. healthcare market. The Director will lead advanced financial modeling, gross-to-net forecasting, and market analyses to optimize pricing decisions while ensuring alignment with reimbursement, access, and regulatory requirements. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Finance, Market Access, and Brand Marketing, to inform executive-level decision-making and support product launch readiness. The Director will oversee provider contracting strategy with GPOs, IDNs, integrated health systems, and government customers, developing actionable insights to maintain competitive positioning. This role also involves presenting complex pricing and contracting strategies to senior leadership, identifying risks, and recommending mitigation strategies. Remote work is supported, with moderate domestic travel required.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead U.S. pricing and contracting strategy, including scenario planning, list price optimization, net price realization, and gross-to-net projections across commercial and government channels.
  • Develop and oversee provider contracting approaches, evaluating contract structures, provider economics, and Net Cost Recovery to align with reimbursement and policy considerations.
  • Monitor market trends, reimbursement benchmarks, and competitive dynamics to inform pricing decisions and proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Brand Marketing, Market Access, and Finance to create business cases and support contract review and approval processes.
  • Deliver executive-level presentations for Quarterly Business Reviews and Board meetings, clearly communicating financial trade-offs and strategic recommendations.
  • Support cross-functional readiness for product launches with pricing and contracting insights.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations in all pricing and contracting activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Biological Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare sectors with a focus on pricing, contracting, reimbursement, and policy strategy.
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. healthcare policy, including IRA, MFN, Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, ASP-based models, and government pricing regulations.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate complex policy and market dynamics into actionable strategies.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leadership and collaborate across large matrixed organizations.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills to convey technical and policy concepts to executive stakeholders.
  • Flexible, diplomatic, and able to navigate ambiguity in a fast-evolving policy environment.
  • Domestic travel ability of 15–25%.
  • Leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional projects and driving strategic initiatives.
