Corporate Accounting Manager at Bosch Building Technologies LLC – Phoenix, Arizona

This position will be responsible for managing the Trade Accounts Payable team while leading various department efficiency improvements and system implementations. This role will direct initiatives to improve working capital and work with other accounting leaders to improve cross-team collaboration. This position is highly visible and requires a strong leader with the ability to prioritize, plan and lead.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of accounting processes as well as a customer service mindset.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide Leadership to team members
• Responsible for Month End Close Activities, including balance sheet reconciliations and reporting
• Allocate and Monitor team workload
• Development of Process Efficiency Projects
• Ensure accurate data entry
• Develop an Action plans and follow to completion
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and both company, customer and vendor requirements, and government regulations.
• Maintain Positive Vendor Relationships
• Review and educate on Sales/Use Tax
• Ensure Accurate and Timely Vendor Payments
• Research and communicate payment issues
• Review and approve all payment batches

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of Accounting Experience
• 5+ years of managing a team of 3+ employees
• Knowledge of Sales & Use Tax Laws
• Troubleshooting Skills
• Advanced Excel Skills
• Accounting Degree or similar preferred

Essential Functions:

• Be able to lift and carry files, personal computers, material, etc.
• Be able to spend significant time sitting.
