Material Handler

ARMI Manufacturing is seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Material Handler to ensure that fabricated components are delivered to the correct place at the correct time. This role is critical to maintaining production flow, supporting downstream processes, and driving continuous improvement across our operations.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update accurate inventory records and component locations within our MRP/ERP systems.
• Accurately record all material movements and transactions to ensure real-time system accuracy.
• Pick and kit jobs completely and correctly to keep fabrication and assembly on schedule.
• Communicate daily with work-cell leads and the Production Scheduler to adjust priorities and support workflow.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels, including cycle counts, min-max reporting, and scrap processing.
• Identify and submit at least two process-improvement opportunities per month.

Requirements:

• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. repeatedly and stand for at least 8 hours per day.
• Comfortable working in a non-air-conditioned shop environment.
• Proficiency with computer software, including Microsoft Office and MRP/ERP systems (experience with COUNTERPART a plus).
• Ability to read blueprints and understand Bills of Material (BOMs).
• Certification in forklift operation (or willingness to obtain).
