Sales/Territory Manager at Continental Equipment Company Inc – Little Rock, Arkansas

Job Description:

1. Responsibilities
   • Develop sales strategies to ensure that the territory assigned attains its sales goals and profitability
   • Create, conduct and review proposal presentations to ensure that all specifications, details, and costs are covered
   • Perform duties of a Sales Representative in a designated territory including calling on new and existing customers, preparing quotes, and negotiating terms of contracts to close sales
   • Build positive relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction
   • Resolve issues as they occur and communicate actions needed with appropriate internal and external personnel

Perform other duties as assigned

1. Experience & Training

• Requires 2 to 5 years of sales/marketing experience, preferably in a heavy-duty equipment/construction-related industry or manufacturing environment

• Excellent customer service focus
• Ability to effectively communicate orally with customers over the phone and in person in a professional manner
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
• Ability to travel which may require occasional overnight stay
• Excellent follow up techniques
• Strong leadership and team building skills.
• Computer literacy including practical knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) is required

Subject to prolonged periods of sitting, typing or working primarily with fingers, holds and grips objects; subject to repetitive motion of the wrists, hands and/or fingers. Exerts up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
