Position Summary:

AG Security Group Inc. is seeking professional, polished Security Officers to provide discreet, high-end protection services for luxury retail environments in the Hamptons & North Shore area.
This role requires exceptional interpersonal skills, impeccable presentation, and the ability to seamlessly balance asset protection with elevated customer service in an upscale setting. Officers serve as both a visible security presence and a brand ambassador for luxury clientele, including high-net-worth individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Experience & Front Entrance Management
Create a concierge-level first impression by greeting every guest graciously and professionally
Manage door flow to ensure smooth entry and exit
Maintain a polished, welcoming presence at all times
Serve as the face of security for discerning clientele
Incident Response & Safety Management
Respond promptly and professionally to alarms, medical emergencies, and disorderly conduct
Follow established protocols to ensure calm, swift, and effective resolution
Maintain composure and sound judgment in high-pressure situations
Reporting & Documentation
Complete daily activity reports and detailed incident reports
Maintain clear, concise documentation of all security-related matters
Communicate findings to store leadership and corporate teams
Team Collaboration & Event Support
Coordinate with store leadership during VIP visits and special events
Manage crowd control during product launches and high-traffic periods
Oversee lock-up procedures and overall operational security needs
Maintain an impeccable uniform and professional presence at all times
Security Duties:

Secure people, merchandise, and property through discreet observation of sales floors, fitting rooms, and stock areas
Deter theft and minimize loss while preserving a seamless shopping experience
Conduct surveillance without disrupting the luxury retail environment
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (6–8 hours)
Ability to respond quickly and effectively to incidents
Strong visual and auditory awareness to monitor premises

Qualifications:

Required:
New York State Security Guard License
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Professional suit required – Must own and wear a full professional suit (jacket, dress pants, dress shirt, tie, and dress shoes) while on duty
Well-groomed appearance at all times
Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
Ability to stand for extended periods and remain alert throughout shift
Professional demeanor and discretion when interacting with high-net-worth clientele

Preferred:
Prior security experience, particularly in retail or luxury environments
Customer service experience in upscale settings
New York State Security Guard License (or ability to obtain)

Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly Rate: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour (based on experience)
