Warehouse Equipment Operator at Healthwise Nutritional Resources Inc – Grovetown, Georgia

Responsibilities:

• Operate all mobile warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Unload, load and inspect incoming and outgoing raw materials and finished goods
• Operate the X-ray machine per procedure
• Report deficiencies and mistakes of products to required personnel
• Update logs and records to track incoming and outgoing products. File other paperwork as required
• Maintain good housekeeping of working area, aisles and other areas of responsibility
• Record and dispose of waste materials property according to company standards
• Assist with training of new employees in areas of held qualifications
• Accurately count and complete basic arithmetic
• Follows NRI Rules and Regulations as per policy
• Notifies Main Warehouse Manager of any suspicious personnel or incidents occurring that relate to plant security
• Maintain level of sanitation and GMP’s appropriate to a raw material and finished product operation
• All other duties as assigned

Kitter

• Pulls Picklist and master batch records from MRP system
• Pull necessary ingredients from warehouse bin locations
• Operates scanner to remove specific ingredients and lot numbers from what bin and in what quantity
• Assign specific ingredients to specific jobs using MRP system
• If a job requires an amount less than the quantity in an entire container (bag, box, ,barrel, carton, etc.) open container, measure required amount, reseal container.
• Place the correct labels on the resealed container and return it to the appropriate bin location
• Continue this process for each ingredient listed on the job until complete.
• Print pallet label and apply it to the completed kit.
• After QC release, physically move completed kit to designated bin location and record in MRP system.
• Must communicate any issues with ingredients to warehouse manager for resolution.
• Must follow specific instructions for handling and cleaning required for allergen safety as per procedures.

Minimum Job Requirements

• Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver's license.
• Must pass drug test and have a clean background check.
• High school diploma or GED
• Must be able to read and speak English.
• Minimum 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
• Clerical, word processing, and/or office skills.
• High mathematical skills
• Accounting knowledge is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

• Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver goods.
• Ability to operate and maintain certification of Pallet Jack, Forklift, Order Picker, Swing Reach
• Ability to work at elevated heights.

Working Conditions and Physical Efforts

• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Walking and Standing for long periods of time.
• Required to climb stairs, kneel, crouch, carry containers in hands, handle cleaning chemicals and lift 50-pound containers.
• Working in a temperature-controlled warehouse. Traveling in and out of areas where forklifts and other machinery are operating.
• Some light dust from product that is being produced.
