Job Description
SUMMARY: Under the general direction of the Grant Administrator, the Grants Analyst is responsible for supporting CAPK programs and initiatives through proposal writing and research projects. Works in coordination with the grants team.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze grant proposals, budgets, and financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with funding agency requirements.
- Monitor grant expenditures and performance metrics to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with program managers and finance teams to develop grant budgets and forecasts aligned with organizational priorities.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior leadership and funding agencies to communicate grant status and outcomes.
- Stay current with federal, state, and private grant regulations and best practices to provide expert advice and training to staff.
- Support the grant application process by conducting research on funding opportunities and assisting in proposal development.
- Lead audits and internal reviews related to grant management to ensure adherence to policies and mitigate risks.
