You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Customer Success, Pre-Sales, and Product, ensuring alignment between client needs and company solutions. This position allows for hands-on involvement with global enterprise accounts, strategic decision-making, and the opportunity to shape the sales organization as it scales.
As the Regional Vice President of Sales, you will:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5-6 Strategic Account Managers, ensuring consistent growth and performance across top-tier accounts.
- Conduct weekly 1:1 coaching sessions, providing guidance on vertical market management, forecasting, prospecting, negotiations, and goal accountability.
- Assess sales activities, forecasts, and performance metrics, recommending improvements to achieve revenue and renewal targets.
- Develop and execute account management and renewal strategies while ensuring compliance with internal data management and reporting practices.
- Actively participate in client meetings, contribute to complex negotiations, and drive upsell opportunities with senior leadership support when necessary.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize sales processes, customer satisfaction, and cross-functional alignment.
- Maintain and reinforce company core values through hiring, leading by example, and cultivating strong business relationships with clients.
Candidates should have:
- 5-10 years of individual contributor sales experience, preferably in global enterprise or strategic SaaS sales.
- 3-5 years of strategic sales leadership experience with proven success leading experienced sales teams.
- Strong ability to recruit, mentor, and motivate high-performing sales professionals.
- Track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets and building highly effective sales talent.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience managing complex client relationships and navigating executive-level negotiations.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute long-term account and growth plans.
