Pay Range
This is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus.
We are seeking a seasoned manufacturing leader to oversee operations across multiple plants within a single business platform. This is a high‑impact leadership role for someone who thrives in complex environments, develops strong teams, and drives operational excellence while keeping safety, quality, and people at the center.
What You’ll Do
As a Platform Plant Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple manufacturing facilities, ensuring consistent performance, strong culture, and alignment with division and corporate priorities.
You will:
- Lead and support plant managers and leadership teams to deliver safe, efficient, and high‑quality manufacturing operations.
- Set direction, establish operational standards, and ensure consistent execution across all sites.
- Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, cost, delivery, and employee engagement.
- Champion a positive employee and labor relations environment.
- Ensure effective use of facilities, equipment, materials, and financial resources.
- Lead the implementation of corporate initiatives, including cost reduction, capital investments, energy conservation, and safety programs.
- Communicate division and corporate objectives clearly to plant leadership teams.
- Provide operational insight and feedback to division and corporate stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational discipline.

What You Bring
Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of progressive manufacturing experience.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Plant Manager.
- Experience leading complex or multi‑site manufacturing operations preferred.
Skills & Capabilities
- Deep knowledge of manufacturing operations and production processes.
- Strong understanding of product lines and operational workflows.
- Proven leadership and people‑development capabilities.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar).
- Working knowledge of labor and employee relations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
People Leadership
- Leads and develops a team of hourly and salaried employees through direct and indirect leadership.
- Responsible for performance management, talent development, hiring, compensation decisions, and workforce planning.
Work Environment
- Office‑based with regular time spent in manufacturing environments.
- Heavy travel required, 50% +/- or more throughout the year.
- Exposure to plant conditions such as heat, cold, noise, moving equipment, dust, fumes, and physical activity.
